Default Gauge Question

AS I HAVE READ HERE A NUMBER OF TIME THE WHEN GOING FI YOU CANT REALLY TRUST THE FACTORY TEMP GAUGE SO MY QUESTIONS ARE

1. WHAT GAUGE AM I LOOKING FOR OIL TEMP, EXT TEMP ect ??????? ( OR DO THEY MAKE A ENGINE TEMP GAUGE )

2. WHAT SIZE ARE THE FACTORY GAUGES??????


DOWN HERE IN THE KEYS IT GETS DAM HOT ESPCIALLY IN THE SUMMER TIME AVG IS 90+ INCLUDING HUMIDITY SO HOPE YOU SEE MY CONCERN

Some manufacturers make gauges that say specifically water or oil temp but they are the same, and some just make temperatures gauges. I would get one to monitor the coolant if you are concerned with that, most gauges that will work for that read up to 300 degrees F or around 150 or so degrees C.

I think that people that install them in the stock locations use 60mm

well i have defi and i would like to keep the same gauges so which one would measure coolant temp or next best thing
