A fellow Z member has his ECU flashed by technosquare, and he's selling his car.

I would like to trade with him but he says that there's some issue with an immobilizer?

any suggestions are appreciated.

 

you would have to have nissan redo your keys for both vehicles. Neither of your cars will start if you swapped ecu's. We have a spare ecu that we used to send back and forth to TS. We had them remove the immobilizer. You could do that but it would have to be on both ecu's. You would be better off just getting yours done or leaving it alone.

Nissan will charge you at least two hours labor per car to do the ecu swap and key reprogramming.
