Default Recommendation for another reflash

Alright let me make this as short as possible, I had a MD 5/16 Spacer installed in Jan of this year.... it was installed incorrectly with the help of a someone from the forum. It created a major vacuum leak, and some other things weren't bolted correctly (for one example the rubber around the oil refill cap was in between the plenum and spacer).

Then a month after the spacer install (Feb) I went to get a Technosquare reflash done at TS' shop, I had no idea about the incorrect install of the spacer and the leak... until earlier this month (July).

Now that the vacuum leak is fixed and the install of the spacer is correct, do i need to get another reflash? Do you think that TS tuned my car to the compensate for the leak?

On another note but in relation to reflashing, if i go from a 3.3FD to a 3.7FD would a reflash be recommended?

Sheit happens?
Did you had CEL (at the time of reflash), if yes, what was the DTC?
Does your ECU have TS sticker?
Did you pay for reflash on dyno?

It’s hard to say if you need another reflash, it depends on your answers.
For FD swap I wouldn’t do reflash.

That's a question you should ask your tuner and not assume or speculate about. That's your best bet.

A reflash is only needed for things that change your AFR; drivetrain modifications such as clutches, UDP's, and FD swaps do not alter your AFR. So no, a reflash for just an FD swap is not needed.

you have a base dyno? should dyno again to see your gains. a bad reflash may indicate minimal power gains on the dyno..

I just found out about the leak. There was no check engine light on, i was trying to find out how a rattle at idle was happening (driver side testpipe resonated weld breaking up). I was listening to my engine and pin pointed the leak. So the spacer was installed in Jan 07 reflash in Feb 07and I found out about the space mis-install July 07.

When I went to Technosquare they just did two driving tests on the road, they didn't think a dyno tune was needed.

Then you don’t need another TS reflash. Perhaps you even didn’t have vacuum leak while at TS but it started later after plenum bolts got loose.
