Default UTEC installation question: Molex?

Hello, just curious about the 12 pin molex connector with 2 wires. In the manual it says to ground the #1 pin the black one, but it doesnt say what to do with the red wire. Does the UTEC draw power from the ecu or do I tap the red wire to draw power?

The red wire on the molex connector is PIN 7, for spare solenoid control. If you're not using it, just wrap some electrical tape around it and tie it up out of the way.

Boost control or nitrous. If you're NA, the red wire has no use.

There's actually a separate boost control solenoid line (diagrammed in the back of the UTEC manual). The spare solenoid unlike the boost control solenoid doesn't get it's own map, but it can "activate" based on a number of conditions to trigger things like nitrous as i8acobra mentioned or meth or water spray etc.
