apexi "neo" sufficient for bolt-on tuning? is u-tec overkill?

second of all, the apex neo WILL get corrected by the stock ecu. we have dyno tested this twice on two different cars. we fully tuned them, let them go two weeks. then redynoed them. both cars lost hp over the original hp.
sure we gained 10 or so hp on the dyno, BUT we lost it when the stock ecu took over.
