Hey guys, I have a quick question, just recieved my Turboxs knock light but I have no time to install it right now have to go to work :P It has a 4 pin connector, will that plug into my utec? Also is it necessary for me to wire it into my ecu if it is connected to the utec? I would imagine no.

I think you need the tuner pro to be able to use the knock feature of the knock light - otherwise you can just use it as a shift light. Even for that I've been told the 2.8 firmware is broken when it comes to shift light output.

 

ah ok so I will just wire it to the knocksensor pin on the ecu then, thanks.

Anyone confirm that the knock sensor on a g35 2003 ecu is #15? Thank you.

Read the instructions you connect it to the utec not the ecu. If you don't have them go to there website and get them.

 

I believe it only connects to a Dtec not a Utec. I do not have any inputs for it, besides the molex connector, which I believe is only for connecting boost solenoid?
