how come no one uses AEM ems for the z. I live here in tampa fl and all the really fast cars are using it. i talked to a reptible tuner, his name is Glen and he tunes the hogans drift cars and many others like his RB. Anyways, he says its stupid if i spend thousads of dollars on a built motor and tune on something other than aem. He wants to tune my car but not many of u guys are useing. I just want to know.
thanks

I think quite the opposite... it would be stupid to spend thousands of dollars on a built motor and try and tune tune on an ecu not supported for the 350z. There are plenty of good standalones available for the 350z. Check out the link in my signature for Haltech Platinum - it is a PNP standalone solution for the 350z's with loads of features

It's mainly due to the unreliability of the AEM. D.O.A.'s, failed drivers, not to mention it doesn't properly sync with the vq timing pattern (can't handle the variable cam so it ignores it once it enters the run mode).
