So this DOES work with the 03 G35 Coupe?? The Forsale threads by vendors are saying it's not confirmed...I don't get it.

We have it on some cars right now being tested. We are still waiting for their feedback. We have the maps loaded on our website ready to be had by our customers. Just waiting for some feedback before we officially start selling them. So it will be VERY soon. But not yet.

would this work with a 125 shot of nitrous with the timing retarded and ofcoarse all the safety precautions like tps/rpw switch, lean fuel cut off switch? will there eventually be shops that can tune the cobb instead of just down loading maps? Any info is greatly appreciatied. sorry about my grammar

I would have to say no. Best wait until the tuning software is out.

So hold on,,, if i have the rev up with 7k red line it will now be 7.5?
I have headers, HFC, Y, straight mid all the way out, UD P, POP charger, and spacer. so just put the stock air box back on and i will be good for stage 2?

I haven't had the chance to do a post reflash dyno yet (Friday), but my a** and rear tires say the AP was worth the wait.

mike
out of curiousity...does this function work?

We do not currently offer any performance calibrations besides Stage1 and Stage2. We are currently developing some calibrations that take into account for additional hardware such as headers, plenum spacers, intakes, etc. We need to complete additional testing before these calibrations are released to the public. If you are running this additional hardware and you are able to provide me with some datalogs of how the car is running, please e-mail me at christian@cobbtuning.com and I will follow up with you to see if we can get some calibrations that are better suited for the additional hardware you are running.

Our testing showed that bumping the rev limiter by 500 RPM did not create additional power. The engine torque begins to fall at a rate that makes the horsepower curve go flat, which may make the car feel like it is no longer accelerating.

Take care,
Christian.

If there is no power up there and the car feels like it hit a rev limiter at about 7250 rpms what's the purpose of the exta 500 rpm. I can't say it is a violent cut of power at that point but its close. So is the major benefit being able to use every bit of your 7000 RPM power curve? Please don't misunderstanc my questions because I love the product. I just want to get every last bit possible out of the car.

Our original maps did not raise the limit. Not because we couldn't do it. But because there was no point to it. But then customers wanted it raised. So to please those customers, we raised it. Even though we knew there was little point to it. We are just trying to keep you guys happy The autocrossers might appreciate a few extra RPM. But the majority of users will not care.

Thank you for the reply. I have subsequently changed back to the 7500 rpm. What I find is that there is power and acceleration to just beyyond the 7000 rpm, but as I stated before 7200 rpm and above are dead. With hard acceleration though if you shift at 7k then you will not hit the limiter like otherwise would be probable. Thanks for a great product.

Well it was definitely the best mod I have done. I have not taken it to the dyno as of yet but it has added enough power for me to feel easy about challenging HR's and g37. I normally ride with the TCS on and the power seems to be cut way more when accelerating hard than before AP. On the other hand turn off the TCS and ooh wow. As a plus it also improves gas mileage. The final and maybe strongest endorsement is I am buying another for one for my coupe. Go ahead and get it. You will be ecstatic.

I don't know how independant you consider them. But Forged Performance shows their dyno graph here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ght=accessport
