Were in NYC? There are dyno shop in Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island. You can also try MRC in NJ if you want some tuning done too.

Yes you can go to MRC in NJ, TurboTrix in NJ or VTR on longisland. Im sure there are more dyno shops in NY but those are the only ones that I know of that have worked on Z's

Haven't ever heard good things about ttrix. Has anyone been there lately? My neighboor had a 2003 white WRX and blew the motor after getting a turbo and tune. interested to see if anyone had had a good experience with them and Z's?

If it's just a Dyno you don't have to worry about anything really. Now as far as tuning and tooling with ur car then that's another thing.

Decide first how you are going to tune that. Do you want a Reflash, Utec, Unichip, Emanage...etc. If you want a tune then I suggest to go to MRC but if you just want a dyno then there are tons of dyno in Queens alone.

Are you done with your NA mods? Once you are done then go to MRC and ask him what is your best option tuning wise.

You can get it tuned now and later. Our system will allow you to get a basic "flash" tune, and then let you send in your log files so that we can "eTune" and tune specific to your car. Later on if you decide to change anything we can adjust your tune again with our eTune service. The first three eTunes are free, after that we charge $50ea.

Also with our system you get the Cipher product which allows you to check your cars tune and running condition at any time.

You can pretty much do even a basic search on here and find tons of useful posts about what each tuning product is capable of and what the customers feel about the products.

Problem no, but you might want to spend the money on some form of real tune. It'll be the largest power gain for the money that you'll see. As long as whatever you choose for tuning is adjustable in the future for little to no money then you're not wasting your money doing it now.

Tuning big numbers doesn't always mean a safe tune, so it's usually not something to brag about.

That said, Vinny has been around a LONG damn time and is a very well respected Tuner and Builder. I'd say those are the best qualities to consider when looking for a tuner.
