Default Flash to lower speed governor?

Is there a flash or can I flash the ECU to limit the speed on the Z? I'm thinking about giving one of my Zs to a younger brother (20) who is responsible but I want to limit the top speed (just in case). Wondering if it's possible or do I need a piggyback like the UTEC to do this?

Thanks,

JAA

Thanks man I'll check it out. Another one while I'm here. On my other ride I have a technosquare flash I want to get rid of. Can Nissan flash back to stock or do I need a new ECU. Anyone interested in a trade for a Technosquare flash if so?

Yes, it can be done. I have a valet Map from UpRev. limits are 35 mph or 3200 RPM.

100000000000+ for UpRev

one note on the Valet map from Uprev, you specify the max MPH and max RPM. Uprev would be perfect for your need. Just don't let him find out how to change the maps via the cruise control and you are set.

Just an FYI: It's actually 35mph AND 3200rpm. Both conditions have to be met before the engine cuts off...

So if a valet is able to get your car up to 80mph without ever going above 3200rpm, the ecu will let him. Or the bastard can do redline burn outs in the parking lot, but as long as he doesn't go above 35mph, the ecu will let him.

How do I know you may ask? I also have the Orisis valet map, and that's how mine behaves. As soon as I get the user tunable version (V2), I'm going to set the thresholds way low to address that very problem... Like 2000rpm and 20mph! Lol~

We can limit RPM and MPH as stated. And we can also flash that other ECU back to stock if thats what you're trying to do.

I know I'm pushing it and you already have my business but how about limiting revs while clutch is depressed? This would be great for avoiding burnouts My lil bro is getting the lockdown! ah hahahaha

Think its a general rev limiter...so if you just want to limit the RPM's to 3500RPM it will allow him to drive normally, but he could still do a burnout..I think....my tires cost too much to test my theory
