We have installed an autronic stand alone engine management computer in a 03 350z. The ABS will not work as it is not getting an engine speed signal. We tried feeding the tach output lead from the autronic to the factory ecu. It seems to have killed the factory ecu. Any ideas gratefully considered.

 

First I've heard of an autronic installation - sorry to hear about the stock ECU. I would think you could just leave the autronic out of the loop and wire the ABS and ECU together as needed (pass through). Hal at InjectedPerformance may be one of the few individuals that may be able to guide you given his expertise with Haltech development.
