raising idle via timing

raising idle via timing
can someone give me a hand with this? i have a utec on my 04.5 g35 with sts kit and apparently my year wont allow cypher to raise my idle so i need an alternative. i dont want to drill my plate either so if anyone is familiar with raising idle with timing can you please chime in
