Exclamation Need help plz..wide band TXS Tuner is not workin!

I bought a brand new TXS Tuner (gen2)...

I setup all the connections as the instructions provided..linked all the necessary cables...

I connected the 9 pin serial wire goes from the UTEC to the Tuner,
and the 15 pin O2 wideband sensor line goes to the Tuner. The Tuner is connected to the laptop via a phone line looking cord
that has a serial connector on the end going into the laptop.

everything goes well execpt for how to get the power (12 volt) to get the Tuner device working?

I tried to connect it with a 12 volt source but also it was not working!

I doubted that it was not working at all but I tried another method..I connected the RJ12 directly to the UTEC and the TUNER screen was working!

so my question is how to get the tuner working with the correct setup connections?

Please I need your help/suggestions ...coz I need to tune my car and that the only problem is stopping me..the damn Tuner is not working!

No utec folks here

I ensured that all my connection setup is correct and it seems fine...but the onley problem as I mentioned is the Tuner is not getting electric power to make it work!

I tried connecting itwith a 12v source as required but still not working!

should I ship it and return it back to TURBOSX.com ?

or Im missing somthing?

did you ground it? you need 12V to the power lead and you need to connect the ground lead to a good, clean chassis ground.

no, I connected it to v12 source without grounding..is it really make a difference and be the cause of why the wideband was not working?

I will try it tomorrow. I hope it will work.

Thanks

I have a G35 with no Nav so I have more cabin spaces I placed mine where the Nav is located just above the glove compartment. I have mine plugged all the the time since I like to monitor the A/F for both bank.

The power cable has 2 wires (hot, ground). How can you expect to get it power without completing the circuit?
