You must purchase an AccessPORT at either our Portland or Texas facilities to take advantage of this offer. It does not matter if you have a tune from another type of engine managment, this offer is good for any new AccessPORT purchase.

Pretty cool deal. Free custom tune. But how about a dyno before / after?

IMHO, it's alot to ask someone to pay for another tuning tool after paying for one already. ie.. TS flash then Cobb. UpRev flash then Cobb.

Perhaps. could be my lack of knowledge of the two but the Osiris has a pretty comprehensive control of the 350z ecu. Even if Cobb can manage a few hp more, is it really worth paying for a whole new tuning unit?

I think offering it on a car that's not tuned is a great idea. If it's on the dyno, let the customer have the graph and post it so everyone can compare it to the other dynos w/ TS and Osris tunes.

If this tops osiris i would be suprised, kinda hard to prove, unless tested on the same z, dyno and tuner, Some magazine should jump on this. Cobb vs techno vs uprev ! That would be awesome. I predict uprev......I could be wrong.

Why would I want this. Can you adjust my cam profiles for aftermarket cams? One of my friends had an access port for a subaru once. He threw it in the trash. Can you recale your software to tune my engine up to 8000 rpms?

Cobb is Godlike in the Suby world. Couple friends have them and it's pretty amazing in the Subys. I don't know why a Sube owner would throw it out unless they were running really high boost and needs a standalone. I had the AP in the Z and didn't get much from it. That was before they had the tuning software out. I might get back into it and have a tune this time.

OK, I bit - did runs on a Dyno Dynamics with ECU modded with stage I and stage II maps. Plug and Play process, will schedule a "tune" shortly. With the Invidia Gemini Dual catback and JWT dual intake, and stock map, 244. With Stage I, 255, and with stage II, 262. A/F ratio's on the rich side so room to play when tuned. A/F was rich with stock ECU map as well.

Yes, you can tune your AccessPORT tune via a professional tuner and AccessTUNER Pro, or tune your car yourself with AccessTUNER Race, which is a free download!

Travis @ Cobb:

Does the AP support real time tuning for the Nissan/Infinity ECU's yet?

I know as of 9/09 it did not, has this been added?

Great results BTW.

Thanks.

Real time tuning is not available on any of our Nissan or Infinity platforms at this time. There is a toggle in the software for this, but it is not functional.
