Default Osiris Dyno Tuned @ Z1 Motorsports

Today i made the trip to Z1 Motorsports to get dyno tuned using Osiris. Last time i dynoed,i made 257RWHP and 238LB/FT. Well, since i have changed rear tires to heavier 285 Run Flat. So today i baselined at 253HP. We found out that i was running EXTREMELY lean, just by adjusting the A/F i was over 260RWHP. Jon spent about 4hours tuning and i ended up making 265RWHP and 250LB/FT on their DynoJet. I also gained 17HP and 16TQ in the midrange. I feel like this tune is the most noticable thing ive ever done, the car pulls ALOT harder and is smoother than ever before.

I have a 04 G35C 6MT
My engine mods include:
JWT Popcharger
Stillen Z-Tube
AAM Angled Plenum Spacer
NGK Plugs
JWT Lightweight Flywheel
JWT Clutch
Stillen Test Pipes
APS True Dual Exhaust
Stillen Underdrive Crank Pulley
and Amsoil Fluids

I would like to thank Z1 and Jon for providing such a great tune.

Here is my chart, and i hope to have another chart soon, as i plan to install Longtube Headers, upgrade to a Kinetix Plenum and retune.

Great gains, I can't wait till I can do this. I will have to do the etunes though since I don't have any tuners around.

Would you guys suggest doing a clutch fly combo before doing the tune? Or the tune first?

Clutch and flywheel with have no effect on the tune, so it wouldnt matter when you do it.

I would do a tune soon. Even with just the intake and spacer, I bet you are running a bit lean. The tune will get you safe then you can change the flywheel and clutch at your convenience without affecting tune.

You've been on the forums long enough to know that statement you just made will get you crucified, right, lol. Unless you're not really 18 and just joking, but thats like going to prison, naked, with a wig, bent over, you're just asking for it, lol.

all dynos are different, and the way shop sets them up change change numbers. They showed me how they do it and it bumped me up over 270.

BUT you have a Z with a shorter Composite Driveshaft, i have a 2 piece driveshaft.

I prolly have heavier wheels and tires considering im running 285s and they are runflats, yes i loose parasitic power but ifyou cant hook up power is worthless

and also imnot sure what year your car is but im a 04 with the DE motor, if you revup or HR you should be making more power.

nope.

I had JWT pop charger, testpipes, exhaust. back then I had rota wheels. 275s in the back.

Iam going to be retuned with UPREV soon from Hal@ injected.. with custom intake, polished manifold ( upper and lower ) rps clutch, rps flywheel, 5/16 spacer, test pipes, exhausts, headers, ngk plugs. Iam going back to N/A because I want to track it so all the money is on the suspension.
We'll see what the outcome is =)

Get some headers, it was the best mod ive ever did to ther car. I actually felt the power increase as soon as I drove down the street. No other mods I did felt this good.

I had Crawford headers installed.
