Default Anyone using Magneti Marelli?

So yeah. Anyone using the Magenti Marelli Plug and Play ECU for the 350Z? Anyone know how much you can get it for? I know it's MSRP is about $4000, but just wondering if anyone has got it for less.

Injected used for awhile back several years ago (2006?). They were the supplier for the US. I don't think they use it anymore and moved to the Haltech IIRC. Other than that, the only ones I know who used it were in Formula Renault. I'd imagine that at the point you actually need such an ecu, you've got a team of engineers, techs, etc etc backing you up with a full race car program.

I believe Sharif@Forged also had it on his 350z track car for awhile. I think the price tag was hard to justify in the market given other options.

Yes, ran a prototype unit back in 2006. It worked well, but was needlessly complex, and once the Haltech came out the MM really didn't make sense. Back then, the only other viable standalone option was the HKS Fcon VPro.

The MM is one of the most versatile ECUs on the market. It was used in Formula 1 for a long time, but I think Microsoft received the contract currently. Their top of the line Marvel ECU is delivered to a F1 team, and their team would design and program their own software with MM engineers helping. It is very complex and I wouldn't recommend it to the DYI customer.

I actually still have 2 or 3 SRA-E units in stock with a plug in harness as well as one fully loaded SRT-E with a full race PECTEL harness.
