hmmm, what to do, what to do. I want this so bad but my engine is still apart. I'll probably break down and get it anyways and just adjust my finances accordingly. sucks being on a budget.

maybe i'll have the car back together and see what i can do for tuning next week to decide if i want to mess with this.

thanks for all the hard work charles! i'll be updating to this some point in time in the future if i don't do it now.

ya i can take orders any time really... parts are at the anodizer. probably pick them up in roughly a week.

I need to sort these orders individually right now. anyone planning to do this right away please send me a PM. I will reply in order with the required information.

when is the 1 month deal for us grandfathered? is it just for july? if so then i can paypal you the cash and just wait for them to come in later since i'll probably be assembling the car this weekend in order to break the engine in.

ok cool. I'll keep a watch out for it so i can get my order in. I doubt i'll swap them until after my engine is broken in just so everything is exactly how it was for the tune that's on the car.

Rich is install and testing the rails tomorrow. We should hopefully know tomorrow evening if the on-rail dampers resolved the lean spots.

thanks for putting me on the spot! i really appreciated the time outta your day to show me around and let me in on the top secret work you guys are doing!!

heres some more pics of the finished product. its super nice and meticulous, just like all CJ parts!

now i just need to get Charles to make me a sweet plenum to replace my cossy with a big internal volume, and prolly a custom intercooler since he wont build a stock TB location

FYI- you need to order the damper, the retaining clamp, and the o-ring. all 3 parts were like 65 shipped.

Ha i didnt even have my camera. going to install the rails in like 30 mins. will take pics of them installed.

Ya drove up to Chicago. I needed to stop by AMS to pick up my Alpha 12 GTR.

But the rails went in perfect.


my ID2000s idled right up. hopefully tomorrow we'll get back to low load tuning.

What's APP driver? And more general of a q, why do vq's always have darker colors on the odd intake runners -- is it just the angle of the shot?

from that pic, you can only see directly down the 3 runners angled towards the camera. thats just gas. the other 3 are angled away so they dont show the gas as well

so rich, you buy 2 sets of all 3 parts and it's 65$ for TOTAL or 65$ each set meaning 130$ total?

i think the dampers were 20$ each x2, then the oring at like 3$x2 and then the clip at like 3$x2
65 total

Spent all day troubleshooting that, so no logs today. Larry didnt notice any more lean spots as he rolled thru the 2000 rpm range, but will take a better look on Monday.
