JWT recommends their 272 C8 cams with their upgraded spring and shim kit. I'd be curious to see what you make with that since I have them on a revup myself.

The idle was bumped up a tad, but the lope isn't too noticeable coming from Nissan's oem 248/248 revup engine camshafts.

spend 3k on a used turbo kit.. its much more worth it than spending 2500 on n/a upgrades and still getting only 270whp.. Im done spending money and getting very little gains on my n/a 350z.. Thats just my opinion, i'd rather put the money into another project with more potential

If you want MORE power the only solution is Volumex/Turbo...
But is a "choice of lifestyle" let me say...

yes, don't let this turn in to a FI vs NA argument again.. no one is saying NA is better power for the money.

its obvious FI wins there. I've just chosen this route for the fun of learning about our car/engines and to take on the challenge of fine tuning the engine rather than forcing air into it.

I'm not going to post numbers because numbers don't mean much.

at the time of the dyno It was e-tuned for the exhaust, cats and the Z-tube + K&N Pannel. After throwing on the Headers and JWT pop charger I'm sure it threw off the tune, so my numbers were probably lower than they should be. but as far as power goes, I was making as much or more than everyone else there (it was a dyno day) and I was in 5AT.

The important thing for me on that day was being able to make 8HP more with my ported and polished plenum (did before and after dyno) It probably would have been more but the engine was quite heat soaked. I data logged on all my pulls and the engine temp was atleast 30 degrees higher than when I did the first run.

if you go to
http://plano.cobbtuning.com/dyno/index.php

you can see the runs of our dyno day. just choose: cobb plano, ZvsG dyno day, ZvsG, 2009, and I am Rob Miller

I wish it listed more info on mods for each but whatever... at least it shows the car/year

oh yeah note** if you look at the dyno comparisons the only ones that really do much better than me are the last two... one is the 2008 g37 (VQ37VHR stock I think) and the 2008 350z (VQ35HR with Intake and Exhaust)
It's still interesting to me that I have them in the low/midrange though... but those engines take off after 6000

there were some other guys that got close to me in power but they also had test pipes...

I think If I was tuned for my new mods and no heat soak I'd put down more power.
