Haltech & Engine Check Light
I have not been experiencing problem starting the car with Haltech on for the past couple of weeks (yes, still raining). Nothing was actually done. Still monitoring...
As for the CEL, I have gone to the tune shop to read the CEL that has been showing up every 2-3 days. This is what I've been getting...
P0132 Front O2 Sensor, Bank 1 Rich Shift Monitoring
P0152 Front O2 Sensor, Bank 2 Rich Shift Monitoring
The tuner asked me to try using "C" for fuel and ignition time @ <1000 rpm, which I've tried and it didn't fix the problem, CEL still keeps coming. Whenever the CEL comes on it comes on shortly after starting the car, within 30 seconds of firing up.
As mine is a 03 with narrowband, I've done the spacer mod to cheat the ECU when I installed my test pipe previously, since then I've never seen the CEL until recently when I put in haltech.
A friend said this could be due to failing narrowband sensor thats why it is throwing CEL every few days. But isn't it coincidence that the sensor fail when I put in the haltech.
Well, there is a couple of things I can do,
1. Change out the narrowband sensors
or
2. Remove Haltech and see if ECU still throws O3 CEL to determine if the O2 is faulty.
I do have the haltech wideband but haven't got it installed... what do you advise and recommendation?
yeah, 1 more thing, my fuel consumption is pretty bad now compared to stock ECU. I used to get 7.0 km/l but is only getting about 6.5km/L. I suspect it is because of the CEL, limp mode??

I got the same codes right after the Haltech installed and tune. My car never had that codes before the Haltech. I don't know what's going on with it and how to fix it. If you do then let me know.
i agree with the post crank enrich being too rich.
This cel has nothing to do with your rear o2 sensors having spacers. Completely different code.
i run "c" (copy through) in all of my vac for timing. If you have upgraded injectors then running C in the idle portion of the fuel map would be way too rich.
