Default uprev osiris - ecu reset, lost map swapping ability?

I swapped my pop charger to a stock 06 airbox and I threw a CEL immediately, so I disconnected the neg. on the battery for 20 mins and let the ECU reset.

now, I can't swap maps with my cruise control. I imagine it lost the programming from the ECU reset - do I need to go back to my tuner and get it reloaded? I went through a shop and just had a reflash/dynotune and 5 maps thrown on, I didn't purchase the software or cipher or anything.

I think that the problem is different, a mapping with Osiris is NOT lost only with battery disconnect, well be toooo easy to lost it in that case !

Some part of the "program" is written in ECU rom and is not possible to remove it only disconnecting power IMHO !

You lost map swap but ONE map is still active or you lost also all maps ?

since I don't have the software I can't even check. I'm assuming its running on the stock ecu map, but I have no way of verifying it, since the map swapping command isn't responding at all.

You dont' "feel" if you are using map or not????

SO map is anyway useless.....

on a mildly modded N/A car the gains are negligible. the tune is moreso to keep the AFR in check. running lean is no bueno! it's not worthless : )

Anyway is not possible to delete map only disconnetting battery IMHO, so check other problems.
May be some "damage" on cruise control system or similar???

Just throwing this out there...when I first got Osiris I kept getting the timing for hitting the 2 buttons wrong when switching the maps, and it seemed like it didn't work...I eventually figured out the timing and can now change maps consistently...

But if you've already changed maps successfully in the past it's probably something else...

I've also taken my battery on and off multiple times (I even had my car without a battery for about a month while getting a new engine installed) and the Osiris still worked when I finally started the car back up...

doesnt seem like much of a timing thing, but I have left it on one map for the last like 8 months so I could be doing something absolutely retarded. you just hold down the CC cancel button, and flick the cc toggle switch down the number of times you want to correlate with the map number, right?

I've tried this same method with every variation of CC buttons you can think of (flicking both down and up, holding both the CC on/set and CC cancel buttons etc, just out of curiosity)

Hold toggle down and hit cancel for the number of the map you want selected.

I am going to both laugh, and be relieved, if that's the one combo I didn't try. thanks - I'll give it a whirl during lunch.
