Like Raj mentioned get the A/F adjusted and should be right for mods. Stock G35 5 AT DE cars make about 215-220 RWHP new.

a smoothing factor of 5 means that it takes out the most bumps possible.

a smoothing of zero is direct read out from the dyno. Most shops post a smoothing of 5 to give a nicer looking curve, because instantaneous blips on the dyno dont mean too much.

Since your curve already is smoothed and is still that bumpy, i think something else is going on. If that said smoothing of 0 or 1, that would look sorta normal.

could be the dyno as well....

here's a good pic

This dyno chart is terrible. Not only are you dangerously lean, looks like your transmission 5AT is slipping or failing causing that massive hole in the chart.

First and foremost, I'd take it to another shop that works on the 350z a lot. Get a dyno from them and see how it looks. You might try to find a shop with a tuner, so they can see what's going on and advise you of whether a tune will correct any issues they find.

but your smoothing is 0, mine was 5 and still has multiple spikes..... has anyone else dynoed on the same dyno you did, that way you can compare...... also maxmood whats your 1/4 mile times.... i thank you for trying to warn me, but as we know not all dyno's are the same, i really think something is wrong with my car and i want to figure out what it is before i lable it a "beetle" lol.. but im still keeping my options open, but its just soooo hard to let go of my z.. you know what i mean...lol..

maxmood has anyone else dyno on the same dyno as you that we can compare it too, your dyno shows multiple spikes bc smoothing was set at 0 and it became more sensative....... let us know bc im really interested and im strongly considering EVERYONES advice.....lol..

of course im biased bc i want to keep my car, but then again im not going to be stupid, i would love it if the fix was easy and we can see better results on a different dyno that i can compare other z's or g's with, but i honestly think i was the first z on that shops dyno... i was the only z at there dyno day, the rest were all V8's ie. cobras, vettes, gto's, i also saw a hemi..lol.. and a couple of cobalts....

that's what i'm saying! you got something seriously wrong in the car, that's why i'm asking you to sell.

you can take out all your stuff and get it installed on the next Z u get. no biggie.

anyways, alot of Zs dyno'ed their cars on the same dyno, and they got 230-240whp. and on the same day, a 3.5 altima sedan dyno'ed and got a tad lower than my numbers.

never had mine on the track, so dunno the 1/4.

if you're going to dyno again, look for a dynojet so you can compare results.

ball in ur hands, your decision, your money. play it wise.
