I have a "stupid" question :
i see in quite all dyno test of the DE cars that stock A/F is about 14/1.
In my HR all logs made with Chiper was about 12 to 11 at wot, from medium to high rpm. WITH Berks HFC already installed...
After tuning with Osiris get about the "right" 12.8 - 13.
WHY A/F is so different in original cars ????
My car is too rich, all others seems to be lean !
Are the DE and HR engine so different in fuel "logic" ?
Or are the hardware differences (or the mods made by owner before tunig) to cause this ???

I attach a log of my original car and after tuning, just to show.
Car with HFC and BMC filters in original intakes.
Just to understand, not complaing about my car, is going very well !

It is not normal for DE's to be running 14/1 at WOT. Anywhere from 11-13 is typical in my experience. What might have happened in your case is you were already on the lean side (13) and the bolt ons pushed it up to 14.

Breather mods=more air and the ECU cannot adjust far enough at least on the DE. I have a pop charger, spacer and full exhaust= mad lean.(too much air not enough fuel)

here is a baseline I fould on another forum for a de with the AFR. You can see its 13 is about the highest it goes.

I was going to put the money I spent on the tune into the FI fund but my cousin is a nissan tech and he was diaging my abs problem and while he was in the computer he was checking out some other stuff and told me to get it tuned because of how lean it was, this particular car(mine) does not and has not in the past had and easy life, it get abused, so I figured that was money well spend.

I ended up with about 20 peak over a stock DE, but let me tell you, it seems like a bigger difference, I eat stock DEs ALIVE, its not even funny actually, its most likely like an HR vs a DE haha! I want an HR but think its wiser too pay this one off and build it...or hit the lotto and buy a GTR, problem solved.

Props OP. It feels like a completely different car once tuned!

Mine is a HR and A/F in original was about 12 to 11 at WOT as you can see in logs i put here. Very rich, i think for "security reasons". Quite all modern engine are the same, old sometimes are lean but new generations always rich.
I have also motorbike and is the same, with original hardware if you make a tune usually you have to take out fuel at high rpm, not to give more ! Strange but real...
ALL CAN CHANGE if you have hardware mods, may be heavy. Just to point out !

I was speaking about DE that i see very lean sometimes (without ECU tuning, also in previous dyno posted); may be as stated by other poster because hardware mods are more "heavy" about intake&air flow and ecu can not "compensate" in a good way...

Thank you !

Thats a pretty impressive set-up. Most likely you will want to post your ET here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html

I did about the same numbers (also done at R/T Tuning) on my 05 with popcharger, full cat back, and plenum spacer. I believe my exact numbers were 260whp and 265wtq. But boy was that tune the best mod I could have done. Holy hell, the car is a pleasure to drive after the tune.

Nice job.

You hp plot looks almost identical to my first tune at Church with the same mods except I used the stock intake.

I'd bet some ART pipes, better exhaust (TDX2) and a retune will net you more on Church's dyno. Probably around 300-310 depending on the day.
