Default ECU wont change into different maps???

Hey guys so I recently got an uprev tune from Z1 Motorsports and John over there did an awesome job. One problem though, I should have 4 different maps programmed in the ECU but I cant get it to switch into the different maps. I've searched quite extensively and came up with nothing......

There is nothing wrong with the cruise control and I've tried countless times to switch it using two methods: holding the cruise tab down and pressing cancel and vise versa. Any help would be great!!! Thanks

BTW i drive a 2008 350Z Grand Touring

John and I have exchanged phone numbers to possibly work this out. and Ive already been to Z1 about this twice. Still no luck. John told me that my ECU might not be able to have different maps and I'm just not satisfied with that answer honestly. I want to do research and make 100% sure

ECU might not be able to have different maps? I wouldn't buy that either

How do you know your car isn't switching maps?

I know you've probably done this before a dozen times, but just to repeat the steps:

- Hold down accel/res (first button)
- While that's held down, press the cancel button x number of times
- Let go of accel/rest when you're done

=/

If you have cruise control you can switch maps. search "G35 map switching" on youtube, there are plenty of tutorials. If it still won't work there's something else going on, contact Z1. You paid them good money for a service you shouldn't have to come on the forum and troubleshoot it yourself

Thanks gentlemen for the replies. Theres 2 ways I know its not changing maps. 1 I'm not getting the confirmation blinking light when I try to change maps, and 2 map 4 is valet mode. Car shouldn't go above 45 but when I get on it, it shoots past it like nothing

Just went out and tried every combination i can think of. Still no luck.

And trust me I wanted to make sure i wasn't doing anything wrong, which I'm sure I'm not. i text John today and if i don't hear back within a couple days I'm bringing a firey hell to their door step lol.

1) I don't get a confirming blinking light when I change maps =/
2) Have you tried all of the maps? Personally, I have valet set at 3.

So I went for a drive today and tried all maps 1 through 5 (even though I only have 4) and.......... still nothing :/

Looks like I'm going back to Z1 or something..... Feeling pretty lost at this point lol

Are you absolutely sure they flashed an Osiris license onto your ecu?? I only ask because I've heard stories before... guys went to a shop to get tuned... the shop forgot to flash the ecu or some ****... If you have access to an uprev cable (any cable) plug it in and verify that it registers as an uprev flashed ecu

If your cruise control works (buttons, lights and all) and you're POSITIVE you're 'doing it right' then you most likely DO NOT have an Osiris reflash on your ECU. Just sayin...

When you change map with cruise control the light HAS to blink so manu times as map activated.
1 time for map1, 2 time for map2 and so on...

Seems no flash to ECU...
