Default splitting rear O2 sensor (narrowband) signal

I am planning on installing the BP kit with a single cat within the downpipe. I'd like to retain the rear O2 sensor for emissions, drivability and efficiency. Is there any reason I can't just have a single sensor connected in a Y fashion to the OEM connectors going to the ECU?

I don't understand. I am asking if I can feed the same signal wire to the 2 separate inputs that the ecu expects to see. If so what would I do with the heater wires: just wire to one?

on second thought, just put another bung in there if there isnt one. Install both sensors.

If the ecu monitors the heater circuit youll need both or an o2 simulator. I have other devices that I split just the signal wire but they do not have heater circuits in them.

That might be the better option. Sasha is modifying the downpipe for me anyway.

I would also recommend the second bung. I'm pretty sure it's a heated O2 sensor so I don't know what impact splitting the wire would have...
