Question Performance Tuner. . .

Hi, would anyone please recommend a performance tuner for a stock 2008 350Z. I haven't done upgrades to her yet and have been looking into starting a few modifications and/or upgrades. The main thing I would like to change is the throttle lag due to the drive by wire system. Any input is appreciated and thank you.

I've been looking into the Bully Dog system, but would like some feedback before investing.

Thanks, but I already saw that review video. I was hoping someone else would chime in with some info on any other tuners.

I looked into the bullydog and wasn't impressed. The uses I saw out of it was to mainly check your mpg and teach you to adjust your driving to get better mpg. I didn't see it as a true tuner. I would look into a program that runs off of computer software. I think in the end if you start to mod and tune for those mods then spending the extra $500 now will save you money in the long run. Osiris is popular and somewhat cheap.

I looked into this as well at one point, as well as waiting for a used Cobb AP.

I decided to just wait and get a custom tune with UpRev as mentioned above.

I have test pipes and an exhaust. Just deciding on whether I want to spend the extra $ for the plenum spacer and MREV2 before the tune.

I haven't been able to find solid info of UpRev tune before (with test pipes/exhaust only) and after (plus space/mrev2), but I'm likely to just skip the spacer/mrev2 since I don't feel the cost/install justifies the gains. Can put that money towards koni yellows, brake fluid/lines, etc...

you'll be very hard pressed to find any tuner that is competent at tuning the DBW maps. They are barely defined in the Uprev software, and thats really the only easy option available.

There is a thread on here and on my370 that refer to DBW tuning. I made an excel sheet for ease of DBW map devo.
