Default uprev base tune for vortech.

iam buying a V-2 t-trim vortech tuner kit/ uprev tuner/DeatschWerks 600cc Injectors and a Walbro 255lph fuel pump.

is there any way to get a base tune so i can drive it to get it professional tuned?

how far is your tuner?
I drove mine for 2 hours whithout an issue.
(same scenario)
you have 2 options:
either stay under 3k rpms so you don't hit boost or take off the cog belt and install it once you get there.

if you dont have a tuner nearby, and you have the tuner version of osiris you will need to self tune it to dial in fuel enough that its drivable since you are upgrading injectors.

Lawrence at Intec Racing in Kent has the most experience with forced induction on VQ's in the area, I would give them a call and talk to him

I've seen it done both ways. Personally I would get test pipes with an additional bung and do it that way

Sorry for bumping an old thread. I am also in the same boat as the OP, and am concerned about what negative effects I'll have if I baby the car to my tuner? On stock ecu, I have an upgraded MAF, DW 600cc injectors, test pipes and a v2 vortech

if you changed your MAF i dont thing the car will be drivable at all unless you create a base map for your self

Different MAF and larger injectors, you'll be lucky if you can the car to start let alone crawl to a tuner without some type of base tune.
