Best place to send my ECU for NATS removal
Hello,
I just purchased another ecu so I can switch back and forth from my tuned ecu to an oem mapped ecu for my local emissions system testing ;(.
My question is, do you guys know of a trustworthy/knowledgeable person and or company I can send this ecu to in order to have the NATS removed.
I've emailed Osiris and Z1 motorsports. But if there are any other options out there could someone kindly chime in.
Thank you,
Derek

Why couldn't you leave the tuned ECU in for the testing ?

When I went to go do my emissions test last fall I tried to run my test but at the end of the test it was audited. The auditor told me that the ecu was "tuned" and I would have to return my vehicle to stock in order to pass the test.
I'm not the only guy that has had to go through this either. Here's a link to another that has gone through this also...... https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/6036...nspection.html
So I figured it would be easier for me to buy another ecu and swap it out for the tuned ecu for the test.
As for buying the cable and flashing it back to stock I had thought about doing that but ended up buying another ecu instead.
I was under the impression that you had to have Osiris tuner version to be able to store an FI map but I' didn't research this. Also I was afraid I would end up erasing my tuned map in the process
