The only truely great solution for us is going to be an affordabe stand alone and that is an oxymoron in its self. I would love to see Apexi create an interface for their Power FC or P-NBC systems. Or even the AEM EMS...Barring those two my next choice would be the Tec-3. The Apexi Power FC and AEM EMS should be close to two to three times the cost of a reflash but the Electromotive TEC-3 is 2500. It is however probably one of the best stand alone units out there.

you heard ? or do you know of-- there are alot of rumors / facts flying around.

the only TT that i know that has blown was due to bad pistons & motor build.... he also had an ECU flash, but i doubt it was the cause of the failure. (gurgen's G)

I just heard, yea there's alot of rumors, I'm just trying to find out when the 04 G35 greddy TT is gonna be available that's all. You know I sent in my ecu 2 times because they said it was available and when it was sent there both times they acted like they misunderstood what I was asking for, yes 2004 G35 with Greddy TT.

When was your car built, mine says 07/03 and the ecu says DC in the sticker.
I don't know if this qualifies as a 04 ecu or 03 ecu.

Mine has a 19 I've sent it in 2 times, and I think I'm just going w/ Fcon so don't have to worry about it. I've been waiting since October 2004 for this if they can't crack it then they can't, if they do come out w/ it good for them. You probably want to call them and see, this is what the site says here R4 and R5. Good luck w/ the flash! I doubt it will be out any time soon otherwise you'd hear from one of their peeps here. I've asked a couple times and at it point don't really care just moving forward w/ my project. You pull your engine? what's the plan?

Exclamation

OK here's the deal.
I talked today to Brian @ Technosquare, G35's that have two letters on the ECU stiker are 03 ECU's EVEN if the car itself is 2004. My car has built date 07/03 and the sticker on the ECU says ( DC ), this is a 04' car with a 03' ECU and YES the reflash is good to go!

Trust me after 4 reflashes and a A/F of 14-14.5 Technosquare still has not worked out all of the bugs for the 04 reflash. My car is very modded and stocks g35's dynoed higher than mine after this so called reflash from then. The only thing I get now from them is excuses. What a big waste of $600......

at least they are working on a solution though...it's not exactly easy to do what they are doing, I actually appreciate the fact that they are trying to fix the issues they are having instead of selling their piece "as is".
Having said that, "I want my reflash.... "

Last I talked to them they said they re-release early feb anyone have any news on that?

The 2004.5 reflash is already out and ready. We are still looking for roadster test vehicles though.

Just got back from Church automotive in torrance with the new hp/tq numbers from the 2004.5 G35 technosquare flash. Needless to say it went very well. The old dyno run is in blue and the new run is in red.

Damnit, cant get the pictures to work, here is the link.
