Question UK Options Queries

I'm looking at the UK options list which shows 18" Rays Forged Alloy Wheels for £1000

Does anyone have a pic of what these look like?

What are the standard wheels like?

Also is the cruise control available as an option or would I have to buy the full GT Pack?

The Cruise Control (at present) is only available as part of the GT Pack bundle, which means you have the 3 flickswitches on the Steering Wheel.

The Rays Alloys are forged & therefore lighter (i.e. less unsprung weight = faster acceleration etc...) The Rays have flat, but arced spokes with the 3 dots/squares in each spoke.

I believe that the standard wheels should be as attached

The UK Spec (available on http://www.nissan-350z.co.uk) says that the UK wheels are all 18". This is on both the base and GT models.

The upgrades to the RAYS are a move to lightweight alloys... and they look better. I'm not sure that £1,000 is a great upgrade here... but it's getting me my car a *lot* earlier, so I'm not complaining.

yeah £1000 seems a lot for wheels which look fairly similar from a distance......but when Z owners pull alongside each other what is the first thing they will look at on the other car? The wheels.

I bought a VW golf a couple of years ago and invested an extra £700 for BBS Alloys....and I often think what was the point? ... but when they are cleaned up I know that people notice them. One young guy came up to me and said "love the wheels"....that made my day!

I loved them BBS wheels... for a long time, that was the kind of wheel I was after.

I met some guy who was into car mods at a petrol station one time. He'd obviously been involved in some nasty accident, but I'd seen the wheels on his car and complemented him on his choice... he was well chuffed about that... he'd recently imported them from Japan, and was stoked that someone (especially someone in a normal, non-modded car) had noticed them. We had a really great chat about cars, then off he went
