350Z Turbo - 2005/6?
Originally rumoured Jan 02 before UK market for V6 confirmed by Nissan - 335bhp same engine as new Skyline (or GTR 55 as I think it will be called).
However, development may have over taken original plans and 350Z will be kept as sub £30k market vehicle and GTR 55 will now potentially be sub £40k market (same engine, same pan etc)
Whichever, that would be my plan once i got bored(???) with the 350

However, I really need a bit more space in the car, so something along the lines of the Mitsubushi Evo VIII is current favourite. Slightly cheaper than the Z too, with more boot space... although, I do hear that the clutch will probably need replacing by 3,000 miles.

Did you see "Right Car, Wrong Car" last night (14/04/2003) on TV?
The guy chose the 360 Modena secondhand (year old), I think I would have gone that way too...
...but I would have stashed the Diablo away for special occasions & gone for the 911 Turbo for day to day transport.
Oh well, bang goes a cool third of a million quid then

ah well... if we're not talking in terms of affordability!
The Skyline has been my ideal car for sometime now... in fact, I found out about the 350Z whilst looking for some cheap Skylines!
But then we're also looking onwards and upwards into Diablo territory...

I have the new SLK on order, this won't be available until the end of 2004 so I have no idea of what engine sizes, specifications or prices will be. I don't even know what it will look like either. (guess like a baby SL?).
Thought I'd get my name on the waiting list though, no doubt they'll be as scarce as rocking horse sh*t to start with, and I can always decide nearer the time when there is more info to go on.
Always wanted a 911 though, 993 or 996 would do nicely, but I've been frightened off so far just by the cost of spares/servicing etc.. Maybe pluck up the courage some time in the future (maybe !!!!).
