Glad you like the Elise

I'm sure you'll have loads of fun in it (after the long term car park anyway)

Don't need a brochure, but count me in for anything else - Have fun whilst you're in the US - I presume that you are playing gigs over there (?)

I don't miss the Tuscan's looks because I actually think the Elise is better looking esp. from the back. I miss the *sound*, but not really the power as the Elise feels pretty quick to me. It still gives you that pushed-into-the-back-of-your-seat feeling, and it's actually quicker in terms of regular driving (corners, weaving through traffic) because it's so planted and so direct, you don't really have to delay and think about where you're heading, you just go there.

parked next to a brand new Elise II at work today! Yeah, very nice indeed. Pity I hadn't seen it last week (when it was lovely and sunny), but the car sure is a looker... just got to catch the owner going home some time to see what they can do in it :-)

Ok guys, I'm in SF. Plan is to go to the Nissan and Mini dealerships on Friday (hubby's got a Cooper S that needs toys).

If there is anything really cool I will take a phone-cam picture of it for you and then I can take orders for my next visit.

Veilside, I'm actually playing here on my next trip (18th June at the Make-Out Room), but this trip we are visiting Apple's HQ to talk about getting the label onto the iTunes web store. I'm such a huge Mac fan, it was like being invited to go and see ***** Wonka's chocolate factory - I just had to say yes!

Good luck to you on that score... sounds like the iTune thing is beginning to take off as well. Can only be good to get any additional exposure that way too!

Hey milk those guys for all they're worth...

They turned down Bill Gates with the Windows idea, so you could be the next Billionaire on the site.

Can I come & play

I keep hearing bad reports about the Z3 for some reason... and fair enough, a friend of mine wrote one off not so long ago as it didn't grip on corners, got himself a TT 225 convertable with the insurance money...

now if you were talking about a Z4!??

I believe it was Gates who ripped off Apple - their 'Lisa' computer was the first to have a 'desktop' interface as we know it, with a mouse etc.

There is no 'milking' going on. The iTunes web store benefits bands, labels, Apple and music fans alike - sounds good to me. My only gripe is that they are not prioritising getting it to work for people without a US billing address. Typical Americans... Still, it will mean that people over there have an easy and cheap way to get my music. People in Europe can go to a record shop for now, and use the web store next year. When the record label gives my CDs to distributors who sell it to record shops around Europe, we get a much rawer deal than what Apple are proposing. Everyone along the way takes a cut, plus there is the extra cost of manufacturing the discs, shipping them and dealing with any returns that come back. With the web store there is nothing to stop bands (unsigned ones even) setting up their own 'label' (just press up a few copies of your own album and think of a label name), and joining the level playing field of selling online next to major labels and traditional indies. This means the music gets to more people and the artist gets the lion's share of the money, which is as it should be.

I'm VERY excited about this. It's gonna change the face of music and for once the changes are gonna benefit the artists and the music fans alike.

Ok, time to get up... I've got a Nissan dealership to visit!

It was just a joke Sounds promising.

Enjoy the dealership

I thought BG worked for Apple on the Lisa, but they weren't convinced & therefore didn't fund the development
