Question The Run

Hi,

I was hoping that Nissan would be releasing "The Run" over here as part of the build up to the cars arrival.

However, after quizzing Nissan Customer Service, it turns out that the film doesn't conform to UK vehilce advertising guidelines and is unlikely to get a UK release

I know that some of you guys already have copies of the DVD and I have a few questions:

First up: Is it actually worth chasing down a copy of the DVD?

If so, where did you get the DVD from and is it region encoded (I've only got a shonky UK player!)?

Cheers,
Steve

It's worth a free copy. I believe when I was ripping it I saw it was region free. If you are newsgroup savy, check out alt.binaries.test I posted a 120 meg avi there. there's extra stuff on the dvd like narrations on the alternate audios.

If you really want one for a Z collection, try courtesynissan.com

http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan..._Code=350Z-RUN

also, it was an NTSC dvd so you might have player issues.

I got it on Saturday.......I think its quite good.....in some sections of the drive they don't seem to push the car hard enough....thats my only minor gripe.

It must have taken some planning to do it......

Anyway its a Z, so its cool. Go for it.......

It is Region Free but you will need something to play NTSC rather than PAL discs...

It will play on a PS2, PC & DVD's with the NTSC function

You know you want one

I ordered mine from Courtesy Nissan - Texas
