We're still working out details, but we already have several club sponsors returning and have already signed four partner sponsors (these were the guys who donated the BIG ticket raffle items last year!).
Activities schedule still in flux, but we have some ideas to make the weekend more entertaining and a little less busy. Nothing is final, but right now it appears we may have a Poker Run with the last stop setting up everyone for the huge group photo (as we did in 2004 and 2005). Of course, there will be the ZDayZ Car Show on Saturday. In addition, we are hoping to work out a way to have an outdoor movie night one evening of the event. Finally, we are in negotiations with FVR and local government for another activity so big it would require adding a day to ZDayZ!!! I'm hopeful, but realistically I think our chances are about 1 in 5 of this happening. Still, it was FVR's idea not ours. We'll see what happens. If it becomes official, I will announce the activity and the extended ZDayZ dates. For now, just assume May 18-20 is a lock for dates and that we may add either a Thursday or Sunday activity.
More news will be coming as things develop. Probably will be relatively quiet news-wise through December with things picking up as we progress into 2007. Of course, questions or comments can always be emailed to

We're asking the Z Club sponsors of ZdayZ to supply a couple of their members for some volunteer work to help things out and go smoother. With the increase of cars and attendees year to year, it's been somewhat of a strain on staff. But a good strain....

And you have to remember, they are public roads so while we are the dominant group, there are still others who come up on bikes and on cars over the weekend. Generally, if you can get up there a day or two early you can get some good driving in, then take the actual ZDayZ dates to enjoy hanging out with everyone.
Finally, a little ZDayZ love for y'all. This is the 2005 group shot. We are attempting to sort things out so we can have one of these again in 2007...

I didn't call in time and I'm NOT staying in a cottage...I need ac. So I'm sleeping no the couch/floor in a 3bed cabin...sharing it with 5 other guys. Talk about a sausage fest!
