Starting last year, security was stepped up a bit due to some late night burnout and drifting contests the year before but I didn't see any decrease in overall partying and no one got in any trouble that I heard of. It is still like a campus party the weekend of the big game.

Yeah I am not too worried about it. I am cruising down with some people and while I haven't met people in person, I've talked to them a decent amount so it is all good. Never really seen a problem at Z meets in general but of course the more people you have....
I have set up a few Z meets in the Northeast and it was cool. Of course the Bostonians would hang wout with Bostonians and Long Island with Long Island, but not to the extent that there wasn't anyone to hang out with.

i'm thinking of organizing a group of so cal z folks to come out to zdays 2009. as i'm sure a lot of ppl would hate to put 6k miles on their z, some might fly and the brave few would drive.. hmm.
