LOL at all the ZDayZ Virtual Reunion posts above.
Just a reminder guys as you are filling out your tax forms for a refund...
Don't forget to send in the registration fees as early as possible. These guys have to front a lot of money to make shirts, buy supplies and lay various deposits here and there. I think they would appreciate members stepping up and helping out by registering early (so they get a good count of people) and paying early.
I admit, I was a slacker and registered but forgot to pay immediately after. I took care of that today.

I've been going to this event yearly since 2005 and it is by far the best Z experience you could possibly have. Venue is perfect, roads are beyond perfect, and Bryan, Glenn, and Morris have the event planning down to a T. It gets bigger and better every year - if you only do one Z related road trip a year, this would have to be your choice. I know of a couple people coming from Minnesota, so don't let distance be an excuse!

As for the distance, I find the pilgrimage to an event like this to be a big part of the fun! Get with members in your area who are headed down. If you meet up together and travel as a group it tends to be a lot of fun. (Plus you all end up taking motion shots of each other's cars! Great opportunity!! )
For those who haven't met anyone from the Z Forums, it's a great icebreaker so by the time you get down to the event, you already have a set of friends to hang with.
If the drive is long, talk it over with the local group. Take a scenic route and see some "Off Interstate" sights. I also encourage regional groups to meet up along the way so a mass of Z's and G's can flood the streets and arrive in style.
We'll have several caravans heading out of Columbus on various days of the week so the northerners might be able to hook up on 75 in KY or something. The caravans are half the fun - a couple years back we met up with Chicago and MN folks somewhere near Lexington and cruised the rest of the way together - about 15 or so cars by that point. There are generally a few caravan posts as the date gets closer.
