There's no pull down items for those of us north of the border.
So I can't complete the registration form.
I'll be registered again through Vuk with the AMS group but was hoping there was a way to place myself on the registration list.
I was able to do it last year but not now.

Well folks, just got back home form Fontana. All I can say is that I'm tired of driving, Justin and I drove over 700 miles this weekend, planning th epoker run route and TSD routes.
Good news: The new pool is open so bring your bathing suits this year. ALso they have a volleyball court. The rec hall has had some improvements done this winter. Looks like most of the cabins have had a fresh cout of paint as well as some other small improvements.
Bad news: We need more peope to register! period end of story. we hve about 140 peeps registered, but FVR is sold out! we are basing all of the tshirts, hats, polos, everything upon preregistration numbers. Pass the word around, if you don't preregister you may not get stuff. Not going to over order and hope that folks show up, not this year anyway.

Things still left to do for zdayz:
Finish the poker run decks
Finish the poker run route
Finish the TSD routes and test them
Add a few things to the schedule (surprises are coming)
determine car show classes
Beat Justin and get the trophy design out to the builders for quotes
Beat Justin and Graham to get shirt/hat quotes
order shirts/hats/and other stuff (this is why I need folks to register)
Get the deposit on movie night in the mail
Organize with TVA for DAM FOTO or find alternate location
and that doesn't even count what I need to do to my car!
Open call for volunteers!
I would love to help if i didn't live a thousand miles away from everything.
I will be there mid day abouts the Tuesday before, you can grab me then. I am hoping to have an out of car camera rig tested out by then.

Matt, I used one of these for a long time http://www.filmtools.com/gripper-302...era-mount.html and had great results from it
Still have it actually, but I took the suction cup off and mounted it to the sheet metal behind the seats. I'm looking for a rollbar mount now.

If you can find just the base, it should screw right to the arm you already have

I have been looking at getting an external mic to mount to the shoe on the camera with a wind sock to cut down on a lot of the wind noise to.

Did you get a lot of vibrations? I have read a lot of reviews that you get a lot of vibrations in the video. I was deadset on getting that one till I read the reviews. I was looking at this one instead. It looks like it would be a lot more riged, less arm to cantilever and produce vibrations.

You could pull dents out with that mount. I've had it up to ~140 on the back straight at VIR and ~135 on the front straight. No drama, wind noise is pretty intense at that speed tho
Man, that makes me feel a ton better. I have seen some videos, but they never got that fast with it. I was thinking of ways to mount a tether that could be shut in the hatch.

You can ride, but it is no race car, it is more of a tin can. I am going to remount the camera so I can hopefully remember to turn the thing on from time to time
