Great advice. I'm trying to drive my z as much as I can before the trip. I'm a little nervous going onto the Dragon this year since it's so different with the SC on. That just means I wiill be more careful

So there are no organized/planned caravans then - wow!

Done. Nothing I could find in the North Central - Mich, Ohio, etc.
This has evolved into such a huge (almost exclusive) Z33 event that I would have thought there would have been more organized caravans.

I know we have our caravans set up. It's up to each area to work it out amongst themselves. If you have a bunch in your area driving down I'm surprised there isn't anything already set up.

I was pretty sure there is a caravan from Ontario that will come through Detroit and head down I75.

I know they posted here, check earlier pages of this thread.

[EDIT] My bad ... it was you that posted this up on page 15. I assumed you already had a group pulled together. I hope you are able to pull people together. My suggestion: go to ZdayZ.com and look up those who are registered. Then PM those in your area and see if you can get a caravan going. I also recommend you contact key members in the states that you will cross. See if they can join in.

Basically starting in Ontario and working our way to Detroit and down I75. As time draws nearer, I'll post estimated timings for the route in an effort to connect with others enroute.
We'll be leaving Wednesday morning and should make our first overnight stop somewhere near Miamisburg, Ohio.
We plan to arrive sometime late Thursday afternoon / early Thursday evening at FV.

ZROC will have peeps leaving both Wednesday and Thursday - we don't pick up I-75 until Kentucky though. If you Canada folks have an estimated time for hitting that part of 75, PM me and I'll check with the locals who will be there. I'm guessing noon to 2:00 PM depending exactly where. I can give you cell phone numbers so you can get in touch while on the road. I'm coming in early - Monday - with 3 or 4 others. Steve

A good meeting spot if everyone wants to hook up is the I75 South rest stop at Florance KY. (First rest stop after the Ohio / KY border.) There are a lot of parking spots there and it should be easy to find everyone.

I myself will also be coming down early for a business trip.

I have to say it's not those 370z's that worried me when I dropped her off...they were kinda keeping to themselves. It's that GT-R that was giving her the eyeball
