ok folks, we have intentially not filled in the events schedule completely yet, cause we are waiting on the sponsors to tell us what THEY want to do this year!
It does not look like Injected will be bringing the Dyno back, so sorry to dissapoint, I begged, but those guys really busted thier butt last year for all of us. I cannot say I blame them.
We have most of our annual sponsors back again this year, and we are pursuing others as well.
I've been so busy with work I haven't been to FVR since new year's eve. I think that is my longest stint from ever being away from there.
I have an endurance race this weekend and I just got back froom VIR last night, so look forward to some serious progression on zdayz starting Sunday/Monday next week.
The number 1 unsolicited request has been for a swap meet. What is the consensus here? Good idea, bad idea? I know I have tons of extra parts laying around from my Z, half baked ideas, parts I've grown out of, a whole stock interior, etc... The biggest hold back is our cars are not know for storage, so what is your opinion? We are lacking something for Thursday night, would be cool to have a swap meet on the ball park thursday night? Swap meet/beer swap maybe?

Thanks for the update Bryan. Thought the virus got ya!
I'm really sorry to hear about Injected not returning with the dyno. I was so impressed by them I was planning to schedule them to do a tune for me in April. Then I'd reconfirm the numbers at ZdayZ. I have to say it was one of my favorite parts of ZdayZ.
I hope they reconsider and surprise us.

OK folks sorry for the lengthy absence, been way way way too covered up with work and track here lately. I am waiting for an update tot eh .php registration before I make all of the definitive announcements but in a nutshell:
Thursday will be the airstrip event (website needs to be updated for registration for this event) Final details pending, but there will be an additional charge to participate in this event
Thursday night is still open at this point, looking for someting to go here
Friday will be a combined event (learned this trick from the 350Z club of florida, thanx.) poker run and/or TSD. Option to do either or both events! seperate prizes for each event.
Friday night is a secret but be ready for a party. Not devulging much at this point, but who do y'all know that parties harder than the Bama boyz?
Saturday, car show, same as last year's, judged
Saturday, holy cow, another party, details pending, but bring your asprin for the next morning
Sunday, go home.

Just signed up over the weekend for my first zdayz. Looks pretty awesome and reading this thread sounds like one hell of time. Cant wait to meet some you and take part in the mayhem. Although I am a little behind the 8 ball and fontana appears to be full. I saw the over flow lodging page but wanted to hear some veterans input? Thanks
You can see if anyone has a room available in a cabin. Otherwise you might look into a house boat with some other people.
Awesome well keep me posted if no one takes it. I'm hoping like hell there is some space available magically. My brother and I would hate to cut a night short because we had a drive to another hotel.

I'll get with FVR tomorrow and see where they stand on lodging availability. I have overflow lodging available, but you REALLY want to stay at FVR if possible. I don't recommend drivning those roads at night unless you have too. Couple of years ago I was up there with the mini group, and one of them broad sided a bear, just ticked the bear off, totalled the mini.
