there will be several organized drives this year, including the poker run, TSD, and a couple mountain runs. That said, ZdayZ organized drives occur at the speed limit due to liability. there are other folks who drive more spirited. and that is almost anyone. I really recommend hooking up with Mike or Doug, if I'm free I'll take a spin too.

I called Friday and there were still some rooms available.

Just call Fontana Village. They still have rooms left. 1-800-849-2258

The Lodge rooms are pretty nice and they have WiFi in the Lobby, they would be my recommendation! Run about $100 a night.

I'm trying to get Fontana village to join this thread and answer these types of questions. Last I talked to them, they were only 35% booked for our weekend. be sure to mention ZdayZ when you call. The entire village is reserved under that name.

I called Sunday and got a campsite for the weekend. It is only $15 a night for the spot.

Also, if there is anyone in Fayetteville, NC(or close by) who is going let me know if you want to drive up in a group.

Sorry for the delay folks. This year has been tough, real world has intruded and is demanding a lot of my time. We have just a couple more hours to finish the new website and I really hope to have it done by the end of the week. The three of us that do the website are having a hard time finding time.

If you need any help on the web site let me know. I'll have plenty of time on my hands beginning next week. I work with HTML, PHP/MySQL etc... I'm not up to date on the latest and greatest AJAX/JS stuff, but that's probably nothing you need anyway.

How hard is it to swap the 5 gal for a larger cell. If I were making a long trip like that, I'd invest in something with a bit more capacity.

My hat's off to you for making such a long trip. You'd get the Iron Butt award for sure.

It wouldnt be hard except for the dimensions are different for the larger cell. Since we cut out the rear end just the size for the cell and made brackets it will be hard haha. We shall see though. I want an iron butt trophy! Im trying to get a few of the other guys around here to do the trip with me!
