yea that was a horrid thread, nice death. I have had way better races with stock gts and have come uptop always after 3rd into 4th dunno maybey ur rims. They instantly jump on me but after 3 shifts my nose is ahead and obviously top speeds favor the zs gearing and limiter. U will pull on him on the highway but dont get discouraged if he jumps ahead they have a excellent tq output from a dig but there tq line falls very flat after 3nd into 3rd from races them alot. SI people have alot of new stangs lol. raced a saleen version and got creamed though, gentlement said its SC'd i was like yea i could tell pulling me like a looney tunes ending lol.

I don't have the above mods!! Pop charger and plenum spacer is all I have.

 

I wasn't referring to you. I said that you could win without the passenger and if you drive it properly. I was referring to Pony Killer in post 15. I raced a 06 MT GT with intake and beat it and I only have a popcharger and MREV2 with heavy rims.

 

I'd like to see a video of someone beating a stock GT with a stock Z, assuming that my wheels would offset the gain from the pop charger and the spacer.
For those who are doubting my driving skills, listen to the video and my shifting, if you can shift faster than that please prove it, don't just be mouthy... and please take your garbage opinion some where else If you don't have something positive to post.

 

I'm not trying to be a jackass or anything, but your shifts definitely need improvement. I wouldn't boast about those shifting skills. If you want videos, go find some Alberto's vids (I powershift or speedshift, depending on mood). I would show you how I shift, but I don't have a vid cam. Also, a stock GT can be beat by a stock Z. I beat a GT with an intake last week at the drag strip. My mods are popcharger and mrev2 but she suffers a lot from my heavy *** nismo replicas.

 

Although my post wasn't targeted entirely at you, I had a feeling someone will mention Alberto, the guy can speak for himself. You on the other hand need to prove your criticism with something you've done! you beat a 2006 GT? ok let me see, I actually was beating the GT in the first run if I didn't have to stop because of the car in front of me.

Anyway.. when I get a chance I'll race him again as I said, when I have time so don't start rushing me.

What do you mean, I need to prove my criticism with something I've done? I did go to a drag strip and raced a GT with intake. You never even got an inch ahead on the GT in the vid, so I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not trying to start anything, but you need to stop making things up.
