This why Hertz won't rent cars to me anymore
that was awesome.... never ever buy from any rental company no matter how sweet the deal looks... a friend of mine bought a 2002 ford taurus from enterprise... the engine died! 3 months later... 90 days had passed... so he was SOL... spent 4g to get a fix/replacement...
I contemplated doing that after I sold my Z, still had it for 3 days before the buyer picked it up, but I still loved her so much, I could not do it!

IMO, stealing from Hertz puts you in the same class as people who break into our cars and/or vandalize them. Stealing from a company is no different than stealing from an individual. Still makes you a low-life thief that would rather steal something than earn it.
^ I really doubt they'd offer a 6spd. Imagine all the manual tranny noobs that would be continually wrecking the clutches. Doesn't hertz rent out elises in some locations now? Or is that enterprise...
