Not yet, I'll be throwing it on the dyno Nov 11th, just out of interest, what base fuel pressure are you running at idle? I'm at 50psi right now ...

Also, if I'm getting 0 knock counts then isn't 11.5 ok ???

Exclamation

looks good colin...no mention of BuiltZmotors.... so hurt

what fuel are you running? if that is 101, A/F looks great...if not, throw on some water injection..I second keeping the A/F's 11.2:1 and below for a non meth/water inj setup or unless running 100+octane

glad you are enjoying the motor..now be careful with all that power!!!

so what were the final numbers? what engine management?

I run 40psi of base fuel pressure, now that temps have dropped alot, I bumped base pressure to 42psi for the winter time...no knock counts is good, but for added safety bring it down .5 point

What size injectors is that, I may have to change out the 550's at some point and go to stage 2 fuelling cos my duty cycle is getting just a tad over 90 and that's a little high for my liking ...

I was just joking..bad joke i guess, tough to tell sarcasm on computer! glad evrything is running well...enjoy!!!!

Colin (and everyone else)
You should add the rear coolant mod,- at this power level, heat is the enemy, any way you can keep temps down- very cheap upgrade and it works great!-- I now stock these..not too difficult to add to a motor already installed, about 4 hrs labor tops..(just did one monday)

pm me for details

I sold it for $2500, I realise that this is pretty damn cheap but I needed to sell it to finance the twins.

I just don't I prefer to get inquiries and write up estimates, we don't build a cookie cutter motor...

but to give you an idea...

our standard unsleeved shortblock with:
Arias ED pistons 9:1 CR
Eagle rods fully assembled
rear main seal
new main and rod bearings
crank balanced and micro polished
block redecked, honed with torque plates

$3450...
if you'd like a quote pm me and I'll get you a quote, no problem

They are SVRT dumps, really nice build quality ... I was playing with the option of piping them back into the testpipes because of how loud they are but I totally love them now ....

Still waiting to get my 14.5psi wastgate springs in there so that boost should build slightly quicker and it'll reduce the amount of work that the EBC needs to do.
