The truck has the low end TQ for a dig type run to get out ahead first and same for a low mph roll. From a higher mph, I believe the tides would change.
I am going to actually take it to the track for a TNT. Just to see for myself, but IMO, a bad launch in my Z and I won't get the ground back.

those chevys are fast as hell though when the are modded. i have a friend with a nissan sentra spec v and i raced him with my old truck(99 gmc 5.3) stock. and the damn thing would stay right on him. i then spent $2,500 on mods. headers, deleted cats, chip, granetelli mass air flow sensor, full exhaust air intake etc. we then went to the track and it ran a 14.8 ... was beating 94-98 mustangs all night. and this was an extended cab. man i wish i had pictures of it... totaled it

Thats not bad, but at the same time kinda sucks. Wouldnt you think that a 2.5 liter 4 banger wouldve responded a little better to mods with all that stuff. Kinda disappointing! Nice torque number though I guess, wouldnt mind seeing the dyno graph if you could pm it to me.

im gonna assume the cams gave you the biggest power gain
I had a friend with an 03 spec V with a CAI and header and the best either of us could manage was 15.5 which is no better than stock.
