My Z at a Cobra Mustang HPDE
Ran at VIR again this past weekend with the SVT Cobra Club. Man those cars are stupid fast in the straights. And wow do they sound good. But anyhow, put together a 10min vid from the weekend. Some in/out of car shots. Nothing great but always fun to see Mustangs getting ate up in the turns on a track, one or two M3's and a Vette....
Any track junkies/instructors/pro's out there that are willing to give me some pointers i am all ears. i had an instructor with me for 2 sessions on saturday but he wasn't to informative. As you can hear him talk, no instructions really given. I know its not easy to do with a video but if ya see something obvious, something more then just cooking a turn, please let me know. I am trying to better myself out there but my instructor this weekend didn't really do that.....

Holy smokes that is the first time I ever got the embed option to work
Thanks!!!!

None of them wanted anymore. The vette tried to give you a good go at it, but it looks like the turns ate him up. Although he was clearly faster in the straights. Also, the Z sounds great. Not bad for a V6. The Mustangs were no contest on the track. Nice vid. I love the Z sound

the Z did sound pretty good, thats Injen TD with gutted factory cats. No headers yet, hopefully soon though. But that was the hole purpose on doing the vid outside of the car. just wanted to hear my OWN car for once.

Smooth driving, but it looks like you're not pushing the limits of the tire's adhesion very much. The only reason I say that is that I don't think I saw you correct your steering during the turns. If you're driving at the limits of your tire's adhesion, you'll be making minute corrections as you balance the grip of the tires with your steering and throttle inputs.
Once you get more comfortable driving on the track, start exploring the limits of the grip more to get the sensation of steering by throttle.
But it sounds like you had fun, and that's the important thing!
