i think the police officer did the right thing...

if you look when the z is about to go off of the screen, the cop was in front of the car, so his life was endangered, and thus had the right to engage.

I counted at least 10 shots.

I'm sure that many were necessary.

Since you were there and have the inside scoop, how many shots were necessary?

Now was that really necessary? The cop could have easily gotten out of the way, the car was going all of 1 mph.

I say that not in defense of the dumbass driver, but the car.

Not that I would choose to stand directly in front of a car like that; however, there is no duty to retreat for law enforcement officers. Once the driver of the vehicle chose to drive forward, the officer was allowed to use necessary force to stop the driver.

But, I'll give him the benefit of doubt. I'll assume he was a bad shot and the first 9 missed.

it was me... I escaped with a punctured lung and tire....

lol... no, seriously, happy trigger cops are a problem... IMO, that was not necessary... Sure.. the guy was an a$$hole for tryin to run, but The guy could've been drunk or stoned out or ****... but thats not enough as a reason to take someone's life...

He had the stock exhaust. He could have had high-flow cats or maybe test pipes.
