Take these cars out of "race" conditions and see where the times lay. It didn't seem like any of them were really pushing it.

I love the 350z and all, but the new M3 would spank my car and serve it lunch lol.

I've had quite a few Toyotas in the past and their engines rev like sewing machines. They lost me as a customer when they quit making sports cars. I know most of the Lexus are quite sporty, but no legit sports cars.

Nice vid!

I was at an intersection the other day and saw this new Bimmer at a light, noticed the hood bulge and went :O as I was turning I was breaking my neck to look and also saw the m3 fenders but most importantly I noticed the extra door on the side! I was like omg 4 door m3! lol.

note: the M3 requires its V8 to have achieved that feat...

So you aren't impressed that the M3 gets >100 more hp than the Z from the addition of only .5 liters more than the VQ? I figured anyone who uses the cylinder argument would be ecstatic that this M3 gets about 103hp per liter of displacement. Considering also the M3 weighs in at several hundred lbs heavier than the Z. It did pretty good. Although I suspect any outcome from one of Best Motoring's tests.

Goodjob BMW!
