My ZdayZ video "closed course"
Some people backed out of ZdayZ this year due to the rock slide. I even thought about sitting this one out too because of the 8am-8pm schedule, complete with dual hwy patrol car enforcement every day.
But the rock slide turned out to be the best thing that ever happened for driving the dragon. I did a little recon and was able to get a few "closed course" runs on the dragon. This is the only dry one though. (Notice that there are no other cars on the road) Pure driving bliss!

I normally don't post incriminating/embarrassing stuff like this but the guy in the 370Z stopped and talked to Hunter and I when he got back to Fontana (Doug had already left) and requested that I post up the video.
So there it is.

Awesome Video man....Makes me want to be back sooooo bad though! I'm sitting here at work, and watching this and looking thru pics is making me wish it was last week all over!
great vids, your mounting points really capture the speed and thrill of the drive. most vids look like the drivers going slowwww.. fun stuff.
if the road was really closed off for this, how come you couldn't use both lanes? now that is true driving bliss, but this still looked amazingly fun

It wasn't "officially" closed. It just had a rock slide blocking entry from the bottom and I was first in line when TDOT opened the gate at the top. ( I also spoke with the TDOT guy that opened the gate )
I also didn't want to explain the situation 1000x over. If I had used the whole road, no explanation would have sufficed.
