Me vs. G8 Gt
I had a fairly bad launch, day was about 73 degrees and humid, the G8 driver is one of my good friends.
Me 2006 Manual:
Injen CAI
HKS Hi-Flow
Generic tune
All season tires
Him 2009 G8 GT (auto):
CAI
Exhaust
Tune (done right) with a program for his laptop so he can change shift points shifts etc.

Idk what you're talking about. To me it feels like after 3rd the car starts breathing much better and is faster than other cars, and mine isn't even an HR which has an even higher top end.

Thanks
Yeah I know I can pretty easily, sadly I went to the track on a really busy day and only got 3 runs in about 6 hours. Half if not most of the problem where the all season tires that the previous owner had put on next year it's going back with summer only tires, also this was my first time at the track with a RWD car and not a high strung 4cyl fwd car (so i need a driver mod), so the other runs ended up in massive burn outs. The G8 owner is a good friend and from rolls on the street we've been much more even. But at the end of the day I do it for fun and because I've always had a love for cars and racing (next year I'm going to go to a local road course where I should do much better than the drag strip).
