guys ; the new cars are so well designed that any improvements can hardly be achieved (im not talking turbo nitro supercharge, big bore etc...)
My 330ci lost 5 hp with a supersprint catback.

It all depends really. My stock intakes the filters would get clogged with bugs and ****. I gained 2 mph at the end of the 1/4 after I cleaned off the stock filters. I don't notice that kind of build up on my fujita filters. If someone was really expecting 10whp gains from an intake tho.. haha

Dont mean no disrespect, but wake up buddy...fujita is not a high caliber engineering company; they sell because magazine with riced hondas and subarus with cute 19year old chicks print their adds; they dont bother on the dyno...they prefer un unpainted bodykit and a big wing

Not to start an argument... but you're wrong, fujita did provide dyno results.

Simple: move the PVC container.

No, we didn't. Hmmm, I have to search for how to reset my ECU now.

How long do I need to leave the battery disconnected?

You don't say?!?!?

I've read on this forum that the "battery pulling" method doesn't work unless you leave the battery unplugged for 48 - 72 Hours.... What if you can't afford to be without your car for that long?

It works, you need to push down on your brakes to drain any latent current in the system.

I'm really pulling for some new dynos to come out with better results. I was dead set on the fujita intake until I saw that -4whp graph. Perhaps AEM will produce better results. Although haven't Z's and AEM intakes had a bad history together?

Why are you guys waiting for dyno #'s Each dyno will yield different dynos. Be the one that makes the first step. Any intake systems forthese cars to this datewill not yield much. Im sure ifthey kept running the car on the dyno on adifferent day there might be large gains. And some days a loss. I say if you like it, buy it. Most peoplewill not waste the money to dyno every single mod on their car. Its just notcost effective.]

For example the x02 catback has shown to have decent gains on the dyno. When Itook the car to the track, it totally killed my first 1/8th mile. Im sure theres gains but I rather measure it with track times.

Yea i think ill still get fujita, when thinking of the overall look of it, i just dont see how bigger, smoother pipe with more surface area to suck in air could result in a loss, i dont think ya need restriction with intakes as far as i know. Im not ready to shell out 500+ for AEM.
