You really should reset the ecu...I bet you wouldn't have had any lose if you would have done so...It is still subjective as to if you will gain much anyways though

Yeah seems like u lost some low endp power due to the larger diameter piping, but prob gained top end. Was your 1/4 mi overall better than without it?? Or did your overall 1/4 suffer too?

I'd have been happy with ANY positive result. But as I said earlier, I'm still VERY happy with these pipes, and I DO think I will end up on the positive side when my ECU has re-learned it has new lungs. I've already put a couple hundred on the car and today it seemed to just jump when I punched it, and ohhhhhh the sound, so freakin' AWESOME!!! Anywho, I might disconnect the battery this weekend and just watch it sit in my driveway.

I just got a shipment in from Fujita at work today.

If the weather cooperates here I may do a stock vs stillen vs Fujita dyno session here in the near future.

That would be awesome. I'm very anxious to see the results of a proper dyno comparison.

Hey Justin, can you also try different air filters.
IMO the Fujita air filters just seem restrictive compared to the dual sided ones.

Does anyone have these Fujita's in stock? I have been waiting for my set from cardomain for nearly a month now and still no word on them.

And one more thing...when will Nissan get their crap together and bring out the Nismo intake for the 07' 350z? I even work in a Nissan parts department and check Nissan's site every few days and still nothing showing up.

I have sold a few of the G35 and 350z polished intakes already. The black ones should be available in about a week.

Dont worry about the weather being too hot... if you do before and afters if the intake is less restrictive there will be gains shown and you can compare to the baseline. just make sure you let the car cool enough...

We just received a large shipment of these intakes in today.

We are currently offering an instant $20 rebate (limited time only) on this particular intake system, and exclusively through PTUNING.COM.

I ordered the dual AEM intakes over the weekend. Suppose to have it by this Friday. As soon as I get them installed I will take some pictures.

Resetting it that way does not clear any learned fuel trims. You need to do the battery reset method.

Vit, do you HAVE to reset it, or will it learn on its own within a week or two?

It'll figure it out after several drive cycles, but your car will feel like @$$ for a while because the a/f is going to be all wrong.
